About University
Kabardino-Balkarian State University is one of the leading scientific, educational, informational, social, and cultural universities in Russia in Nalchik city of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic studying MBBS in Russia. It was established in 1957 and became the center of scientific and research activity in Russia in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic by implementing modern teaching methods in educational activity in Russia.
Kabardino-Balkarian State University was formed on a Pedagogical college in Russia. On its 50th anniversary, Kabardino-Balkarian State University received the Certificate of Merit and Medal from the State Duma for its outstanding services and achievements. In 2008, Kabardino-Balkarian State University was enlisted among the 100 best universities in Russia. In 2010, Kabardino-Balkarian State University received an honorary award as the winner of the All-Russian contest 100 Best Universities of Russia in the field of science and education in Russia.
Currently, Kabardino-Balkarian State University operates the university complex as a new type of school, which combines different levels of study in Russia and educational institutions in Russia, implementing educational programs of Bachelor’s courses, Master’s courses in Russia, and additional professional education in Russia. Today Kabardino-Balkarian State University holds the 11th place among classical universities in Russia. Currently, Kabardino-Balkarian State University has 67 study departments with a teaching staff of 870 highly qualified teachers, where more than 1,800 students get trained every year to study humanities, study law, and study technical sciences in Russia. Till now Kabardino-Balkarian State University has trained 14,500 students.
Students have permanent access to 76 equipped classrooms, a reading room with 45 seats, a language laboratory in Russia, a modern canteen, teaching classrooms, a psychologist’s room, administrative room. For MBBS in Russia, the Kabardino-Balkaria State University is considered the safest and most well-equipped institute in Russia for its students.
Though, during the 1st year of study MBBS students will learn about the basics. The second-year students get the opportunity to have hands-on experience through clinical training in Russia in affiliated hospitals and clinics which will be more helpful for medical students. The National Medical Council (NMC) approved list also includes Kabardino Balkarian State University and to study here, Indian students must qualify National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).
Recognition
Kabardino Balkarian State Medical University is approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) because of the quality of education in Russia. The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation gives its accreditation to the University and accepts its studying programs and university curriculums on a state level.
Kabardino Balkarian State Medical University also has numerous cooperation agreements with a vast amount of foreign universities and international medical organizations. United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) approved Universities educational programs and provides its students with the ability to increase their level of knowledge and their mobility by taking part in exchange programs and internships abroad. The Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) approved and recognized Kabardino Balkarian State Medical University’s higher degrees in Russia and opened for its students a vast amount of career opportunities in Russia and in foreign labor markets.

Accommodation
Kabardino Balkarian State Medical University offers its student a renovated and comfortable Student Hostel in Russia situated 10 minutes from the main study building. Rooms are provided on a sharing basis for 2-3 international students. The hostel in Russia has separate floors for boys and girls which will be comfortable for them. The entire hostel system is under protection for 24-hour surveillance. Every dorm resident has permanent access to a common kitchen at any time, where the students can cook Russian food according to their taste.
Renovated and fully-equipped training session rooms for students are also available for study purposes in the hostel. The canteen is situated on the university campus in Russia where Indian, veg and non-veg food is available for international students in better quality. All students have permanent access to all rooms in the dormitory including laundry rooms, reading rooms with modern study and audiovisual equipment, and a gym. The hostel rooms are provided with free internet access 24/7. All basic amenities including bedding, blankets, cupboard, table, fans, etc are provided in the hostel rooms for the students.
About City
Nalchik, also spelled Nalčik, city, and capital of Kabardino-Balkariya, southwestern Russia. The city lies along the Nalchik River where the latter leaves the Caucasian foothills. The Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria is one of the most beautiful and unique places in Russia in terms of natural, historical, and cultural characteristics. Nalchik, the capital of the republic, is located in its center in a picturesque area at the foot of the Main Caucasian Range at an altitude of 512 meters above sea level. The city is full of Russian restaurants, historical Russian museums, cafes, shopping malls, and other activities.
The climate in Russia, Nalchik is the climate of the foothill zone. The average temperature in July is plus 21 degrees Celsius, and in January – minus 2.5 degrees Celsius. The main feature of the climate in Russia is the daily fluctuations in air temperature, especially in summer.
About a quarter of the city is a resort area. In the resort part of the city and around it, there are about 40 sanatoriums, rest houses in Russia, tourist centers in Russia, and boarding houses. On a relatively small territory of Nalchik, there are 18 Russian mineral springs of various physical and chemical compositions. The valley of the resort is surrounded by mountains in a semicircle protecting this beautiful place from the winds. A magnificent panorama of the majestic peaks of the Greater Caucasus opens from any point in the city.
