General Information
Kaliningrad State Technical University is a higher educational institution in Kaliningrad city in the Russian Federation. Kaliningrad State Technical University is one of the largest universities in Russia in the fisheries sector of Russia which was founded in 1931. University become a developed multi-disciplinary institution that focuses on the needs of their region and the fishing industry of Russia. University is the best place to study in Russia and get higher education in Russia.
Kaliningrad State Technical University implements a professional training program on the Undergraduate courses, Postgraduate courses, and Doctoral studies in Russia. The university provides a training process for prominent students in 42 specialties and areas of higher education in Russia. Kaliningrad State Technical University has 8 study faculties and 28 study departments.
The pedagogical staff in the university consists of 567 teachers and researchers, including 64 professors, doctors and 288 assistant professors, and 80 academicians. For 90 years the university has prepared over 33,000 specialists in different areas for the fish industry and other sectors of the economy of Russia and foreign countries.
Scientific research is traditionally undertaken in many areas of technical sciences. Students can study modern navigation, study fisheries and seafood processing, study power engineering, study construction, study production automation and control, study information technology, study natural science, study nano-technology, etc. There are 12 research laboratories and scientific centers, four of them being of the applied character.
University provides studying processes for local and international students from other countries. Due to numerous cooperation agreements with foreign universities and organizations, members of academic staff and students have the opportunity to take part in exchange programs and internships abroad to get new theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

Accommodation and Housing
Students of Kaliningrad State Technical University are provided with renovated rooms at the Student hostel. All dormitory residents have the permanent ability to use modern classrooms and training facilities, university libraries and reading rooms, teaching aids and materials, and also sports facilities and cultural facilities of KSTU along with Russian students.
All rooms are renovated and supplied with all needed modern furniture and facilities such as beds, chairs, wardrobes, tables, cable TV, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and permanent heating. Students live in shared rooms between 2-3 students and have access to common kitchens and common bathrooms. Kitchens are renovated and supplied with electric stoves, refrigerators, and microwaves.
