Pitirim Sorokin Syktyvkar State University is a state university in Russia in the city of Syktyvkar, the capital of the Komi Republic. With over 9,000 full-time local and international students and more than 600 qualified and educated faculty members, it is the largest institution of higher education in Russia, offering to study law at the Komi Republic. Syktyvkar State University was founded in 1972, making it the oldest and most developed university in the Komi Republic and Russia where students can study medicine.
The university includes 13 study institutes and 52 study departments and offers educational programs in technical science and study social science with Bachelor courses, Master courses, and Doctoral courses in Russia in the fields of Mathematical and Natural Sciences, Technology, Humanities, Law, Medicine, Economics, Management, Pedagogics, and Art.
