General Information
Siberian State Industrial University is the oldest university in Novokuznetsk, Russia. It was established to train professional personnel for the construction of the Kuznetsk Metallurgical Combine. University is the best place to study technical science and engineering in Russia and get a higher degree in Russia.
Siberian State Industrial University has about 15,000 local and international students in undergraduate courses, graduate courses, and doctoral courses, and an academic staff of about 1200 prominent lecturers, including 326 professors and 350 associate professors.
Students focus on the development of their academic research skills and expertise, participate in the work of the university research teams, and apply for and win research grants to realize their in-house projects. On the basis of their merits and excellence in social activities, they are provided with an opportunity to take part in student exchange programs with universities around the world.
Study programs are based on ratified educational standards and harmonically group the latest scientific and technical progress. Most departments are provided with scientific research laboratories and divisions, which perform research activities and development on major directions of engineering science.

Accommodation and Housing
University provides comfortable supervised student residence halls, equipped with everything you might need within a 5-minute walk on campus, or maybe individual apartments, or living with a Russian host family.
The residence hall’s rooms are usually shared by two or three students. Each floor has a common meeting room. There is bed linen at the dorm, a small towel, and some kitchen stuff. Bathrooms and showers are also for common use. Wi-Fi is available in the lobby of the residence hall. Every hostel resident has free access to the University canteen and all common kitchens on every floor. The students will get access to available 24/7 Wi-Fi facilities in the hostel.
