General Information
The State University of Management is a public university in Moscow, Russia. It was founded in 1919. There are more than 250 qualified professors and 12 academics and members of the Russian Academy of Sciences working at the university. The university is the pioneer of management education in Russia.
SUM comprises 6 educational institutions with a total of over 40 academic departments and research divisions. Around 4,000 qualified specialists and senior managers receive additional professional education at SUM every year. Since its establishment, the university has successfully prepared over 100, 000 qualified managers for different economic sectors.
The State University of Management is a well-established multi-level research and educational complex. It is rightly considered the “father” of Russian management education. SUM is the leader in the further education and discovery of management professionals for the Russian economy.
Study programs are based on ratified educational standards and harmonically group the latest scientific and technical progress. Most departments are provided with scientific research laboratories and divisions, which perform research activities and development on major directions of engineering science.

Accommodation and Housing
There are 4 student hostels, which can accommodate more than 2,000 international students. All the hostels are flat-type with attached bathrooms, toilets, and kitchens. The hostels are centrally heated. The hostels are fully furnished. The basic system is two/three students in one room—separate arrangements for boys and girls. There are two hostels specially renovated.
The system of residence is separate for boys and girls, 2 and 3-seated big rooms, upgraded comforts, central heating, full furniture with beddings, the room has a balcony with a picturesque view, shower room, toilet, washbasin room, cable TV with Indian News & Informative Channels, charged Internet in every room, security guards, reception, laundry, cleaning, and washing personnel, reading rooms, computer hall, Internet hall, recreation hall, 24-hour medical center, well-equipped gyms with hi-tech machines.
