General Information
Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service is the best university to study economics and study finance in Russia. It was opened as the Far-Eastern Technological Institute with just two faculties. Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service (VSUES) received the status of university in 1996. It is the only school in the Primorsky Krai that receives federal funding for its studying programs.
University campus includes 8 learning buildings, 20 study laboratories, a university library, 2 student dormitories, 3 university gyms, a driving school, an exposition hall, several eating facilities, a university polyclinic, computer labs, a small shopping center, and all modern classrooms and educational offices. Most departments are provided with scientific research laboratories and divisions, which perform research activities and development on major directions of engineering science.
The University is a member of the Bologna process. It provides studying of Bachelor’s programs, Master’s programs, and Postgraduate programs for Russian students and develops advanced Master’s programs with English medium of instruction. Students and teaching staff at University are involved in a variety of research activities and grant programs in Russian universities and universities abroad.

Accommodation and Housing
University has 11 student dormitories. Students usually live in a student dormitory, which is the nearest to their Institute. Each dormitory has an internet connection and recreation hall; many student dormitories have gyms and other sports facilities.
There are 2 or 3 students in a room and bathrooms and kitchens on each floor. Vladivostok has a well-developed public transport system, so you can get anywhere you want from each dormitory building. Every room is equipped with modern furniture such as beds, tables, wardrobes, chairs, bedding that changes twice a month, and freely accessible Wi-Fi.
