Tyumen State University is the first university in the Tyumen region, which was opened in 1930. It trains specialists in 175 areas of training. The University is among the participants of Project 5-100, a program to increase the international competitiveness of Russian universities among the world’s leading scientific and educational centers. During the past nine decades, the University of Tyumen grew from a small agro-educational school into a progressive educational center supporting the Tyumen region. 

The university has come a long way to become one of the best universities in Russia. In 2017 the rebranding of the university has taken place. Tyumen State University stepped into the new era as the University of Tyumen. UTMN got the new T-logo. The design project was developed in the studio of Artemy Lebedev, the country’s leading design company.

There are 4 dorms at UTMN. All of them are located within walking distance of the university buildings in the central and ecological districts of the city. Students live in modern one, two, or three-bedroom apartments with en-suite bathrooms, furnished with all necessary domestic appliances and of course, Wi-Fi. There also are lounge rooms and computer classes for studying, kitchens, and laundry rooms.

The hostel provides all needed facilities for students such as modern furniture, changed bedding, TV, free Wi-Fi, reading rooms, studying rooms, a hostel library, a common kitchen, and separate bathrooms and toilets. Hostels are under 24/7 CCTV surveillance, so every student can feel safe and comfortable. Wi-Fi connectivity is accessible 24/7 to make studying and resting more useful.

State University of Non-Ferrous Metals and Gold is a public university in Russia that existed from 1930–1958 in Moscow, and from 1958–2006 in Krasnoyarsk. The university was founded in 1930 based on the Faculty of Non-Ferrous Metallurgy of the Moscow Mining Academy as the Moscow Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals and Gold. 

In 1940, by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics), the Moscow Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals and Gold was named after M. I. Kalinin. In December 1958, by the decision of the Council of Ministers of the USSR, the institute was transferred to Krasnoyarsk and renamed the Krasnoyarsk Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals. By 1998, the academy included four institutes and four faculties, which provide training in thirty-four special specialties of 4,100 students, including 1,200 part-time students. In 2004, the academy was given the status of a university.

Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia is a federal state budgetary higher educational institution, the largest Russian educational and research center in the field of chemical technology. The university acquired its current name and status in 1992 with its Moscow campus mainly located on Miusskaya Square and in Tushino. UCTR (University of Chemical Technology of Russia) has two branches – in Novomoskovsk and Tashkent (Uzbekistan). 

The university traces its history back to the Moscow Industrial School, established in 1898. In 2023, the university will celebrate its 125th anniversary. The student campus of UCTR has three hostel buildings with 758 residential blocks. Each residential block is designed for 5 people. There are two living rooms, bathrooms, and corridors. In each building, on each floor, there is a shared kitchen equipped with electric stoves and cutting tables. 

The provision of residents with hard equipment (bed, table, chair, bedside table, bookshelf, chandelier) and soft equipment (mattress, pillow, blanket, bed linen, towel, curtains, bedspread) is 100%. Utilities for water, heat, energy supply, and sanitation are provided in full. The student has access to a local computer network with Internet, sports and gym, self-training rooms, luggage storage for bicycles and strollers, library, dining room, assembly hall, and self-service laundry. There are ramps for people with disabilities.

Dostoevsky Omsk State University was founded in 1974 in the city of Omsk, Russia. University is one of the best universities in Russia to study technical sciences, study law, study humanities, study IT, study medicine, and study foreign languages.

The two original departments (Humanities and Science) and 40 professors have grown to 13 departments and a 1000-member faculty. The university has graduated more than 25,000 local and international students. University provides high-quality accommodation for international students. The hostel is very close to the college campus. The students are provided with fully furnished rooms on sharing basis. There are around 7 student hostels on the University campus. The hostels have kitchens, laundry rooms, rooms for study and training sessions, recreation rooms, a gym, etc. The complete hostel complex is equipped with internet access.

There are normally one to four people living in each room. Two- to three-person rooms are usually allocated to bachelor’s students (four-person accommodation is infrequent), and two-person rooms are shared between master’s students, and postgraduates are offered single occupancy rooms at some universities. International students can be accommodated with their Russian peers or at dormitories specially reserved for foreigners.

Novomoskovsk Institute was founded in 1959. Since its early days of existence, Novomoskovsk Institute has been training highly qualified engineers for industrial needs.

The Institute is licensed to confer the bachelor’s degree (higher education) to graduates with issuing the state Russian higher degree. The education duration is 4 years and 5 years at the Extramural Branch. After graduation from the Institute students can continue their training to get a master’s degree or postgraduate degree.

Its appearance was due to the rapid development of the petrochemical industry in the region. In 1995, the branch was reorganized into Nizhnekamsk Chemical Technological Institute of Kazan State Technological University.

I. Lobachevsky National Research State University of Nizhny Novgorod, UNN, also known as Lobachevsky University, is a public research university in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, and one of the biggest classical universities in the country.

Entrances to the building are equipped with video surveillance and security posts. The students will also be supplied with a high-speed internet facility, modern TV, and computers in the hostel.
