Ural State University of Architecture and Art is situated in Yekaterinburg, Russian Federation, that was founded in 1947 as a department of architecture at the Ural State Technical University. Later, in 1967, it was reorganized and became a study branch of the Moscow Institute of Architecture which later became an independent school of architecture originally named Sverdlovsk Institute of Architecture.

 University provides renovated and well-furnished Student Dormitories near the main studying building. There are two well-maintained student dormitories, which are home to about 700 international students of different study levels. The Rostov State University of Civil Engineering is a state educational institution of federal subordination. It was established in 1988 on the basis of the Faculty of Architecture of the Rostov Civil Engineering Institute. This institute introduced architecture in 1944 and trained engineers-architects.
