​​The Ural State University of Economics is one of Russia’s most prominent universities that was founded in 1967. It is based in Ekaterinburg and specializes in educating students in a large variety of professions. Accommodation

The Ural State University of Economics provides its students with a Student Dormitory. The hostel consists of eight rooms per floor, with 2-3 people per room. Each floor also has one common kitchen and two toilets, and the basement has a shower. Students cannot select their rooms. All rooms are fully furnished and equipped with all needed for studying and resting comfortable facilities including TV, free Wi-Fi, and comfortable and modern furniture with bedding. 

Every student has access to a common kitchen, modern and renovated laundry room, medical aid cabinet, gym with sports equipment, and reading room with a huge amount of information resources. All rooms have a free Internet connection to make the studying process more useful. The dormitory is surrounded by parks and squares, so every student can spend their free time with fresh air and picturesque sights. About City 

Ekaterinburg acts as the divide between Russia and Kazakhstan and has been dubbed the ‘window on Asia’ due to its proximity to the border. The city is commonly called Russia’s ‘third capital’ as it is ranked third for tourist activities, transport infrastructure, and economic size. It holds a special place in Russia for being the site of some history-changing events. A walking tour of the city is a great way to see the beautiful old architecture and the main attractions of historical importance such as the Church on the Blood, the site of the execution of the last Tsar. 

Ekaterinburg also hosts several unusual sights such as the QWERTY Monument, a giant stone keyboard, the so-called ‘Mafia Cemetery’ where former Mafia members are commemorated with life-size images carved into stone, and during the winter an entire city block is made of ice. Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) is a leading Russian university in STEM education and research that was established in 1946. It is ranked among the best 100 universities for Natural Sciences both by Quacquarelli Symonds and Times Higher Education. 

Institute gives its students and alumni a great number of career opportunities in Asian and European countries in the future. The strong alumni community is spread globally and includes distinguished scientists, businessmen, politicians, people of art, astronauts, and Nobel laureates. 

 There are 92 Research Laboratories at MIPT, and more than 50 of them have been opened over the past five years. The university has summoned top researchers from all over the world to head it. The curriculum allows MIPT students to gain not only profound knowledge but practical skills as well. After four years of study and the defense of a Bachelor’s qualification work (effectively a smaller and less involved version of the Master’s thesis), students are awarded a Bachelor’s degree. The full course of education at MIPT takes six years to complete, just like an American bachelor’s degree followed by a master’s degree. The MIPT study curriculum is more extensive compared to an average American college according to the school.  There is an opinion at the school that a MIPT specialist/Master’s degree may be roughly equivalent to an American Ph.D. in Physics.

Most study courses include a combination of theoretical lectures and practical seminars (problem-solving study sessions in smaller groups) or laboratory experiments. Lecture attendance is optional, while seminar and lab attendance affect grades. The base organization idea is somewhat similar to an internship abroad in that students participate in “real work.” All base organizations also have a study curriculum for students to follow and besides their work, the students are required to take those practical classes and pass exams. In other words, a base organization is an extension of MIPT, specializing in each particular student’s area of interest.

The Saint-Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design offers all full-time students accommodation in the Student Dormitory. The Campus comprises six 15-story high-rise buildings in the city districts with well-developed infrastructure. One room accommodates 2-3 people. At entering VRSUS nonresident students are provided with a student hostel for all periods of training. There are warm and cozy rooms for two-three people. Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service is the best university to study economics and study finance in Russia. Accommodation and Housing 

There are 4 student hostels, which can accommodate more than 2,000 international students. All the hostels are flat-type with attached bathrooms, toilets, and kitchens. The hostels are centrally heated. The hostels are fully furnished. The basic system is two/three students in one room—separate arrangements for boys and girls. There are two hostels specially renovated.

The system of residence is separate for boys and girls, 2 and 3-seated big rooms, upgraded comforts, central heating, full furniture with beddings, the room has a balcony with a picturesque view, shower room, toilet, washbasin room, cable TV with Indian News & Informative Channels, charged Internet in every room, security guards, reception, laundry, cleaning, and washing personnel, reading rooms, computer hall, Internet hall, recreation hall, 24-hour medical center, well-equipped gyms with hi-tech machines.

Russian State University for the Humanities (RSUH) was founded in 1991 on the basis of the Moscow State Institute for History and Archives (1930) and is one of the major educational establishments in the Russian Higher Education Reform in the Humanities. The university ranks among the TOP 200 Higher Education Institutions in Russia according to QS BRICS University Ranking: BRICS 2014.

International cooperation is an important part of the internationalization strategy at RSUH. It is aimed at strengthening the university’s competitive ability in Russia and abroad and its integration into the global education and research space. The internationalization strategy also aims to enhance the quality of education and research and increase Russian education export in the international education market.

Accommodation and Housing 

The dorm for foreign students from partner universities is fully renovated and equipped. Accommodation in the dorm is provided in the form of double rooms. On each floor, there is a split bathroom and a communal kitchen, and free wi-fi.

Each dorm block consists of a double room and a triple room. Each block has a split bathroom. Each floor has a communal kitchen. There are also blocks with quadruple rooms, with a bathroom on the floor. Every hostel resident can use every common room in the building, including the library, gym, canteen, and resting rooms. All rooms are well-furnished and ready to use at any time and day. Accommodations are supplied with refrigerators, shared kitchens, reading rooms, studying rooms, a hostel library, and separate bathrooms and toilets. Hostels are under 24/7 CCTV surveillance, so every student can feel safe and comfortable. 

HSE University, officially the National Research University Higher School of Economics is a public research university founded in 1992 and headquartered in Moscow, Russia. Along with its main campus located in the capital, the university maintains three other regional campuses in Nizhny Novgorod, Perm, and Saint Petersburg. There is also the Lyceum at the National Research University Higher School of Economics in Moscow.

HSE was the first educational institution in Russia to successfully introduce Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, having also taken part in the development and implementation of the Unified State Exam to modernize the education and healthcare systems of Russia.

HSE offers education at all levels – from a lyceum for school students to post-graduate and MBA programs. Students can pursue training in a number of fields, including the social sciences, economics, humanities, law, engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and biotechnology, as well as in creative disciplines.
