Novomoskovsk Institute of RCTU

General Information 

Novomoskovsk Institute was founded in 1959. Since its early days of existence, Novomoskovsk Institute has been training highly qualified engineers for industrial needs.

The Institute is licensed to confer the bachelor’s degree (higher education) to graduates with issuing the state Russian higher degree. The education duration is 4 years and 5 years at the Extramural Branch. After graduation from the Institute students can continue their training to get a master’s degree or postgraduate degree.

University facilities include seven well-equipped academic buildings, renovated student hostels, a large technical science library, a computing center, a publishing house, student clubs, a theater (the Kaleidoscope Student Theatre), a preventive clinic, as well as a skiing lodge, a private swimming pool, and a university sports club and university rest camp.

The citizens of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and other foreign citizens having certificates of general secondary and professional education are admitted to NI in accordance with the results of entrance examinations. University also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including options of studying abroad, taking part in exchange programs, visiting online courses and distance learning opportunities, as well as administrative services

Accommodation and Housing 

All dormitories are fully equipped with modern engineering communications: central heating, hot, and cold water supply, sewerage, and electricity supply. All rooms have access to free Wi-fi and are equipped with essential modern amenities like a pillow, blanket, bedsheet, beds, tables, and chairs that are already added to the basic necessity list. For student recreation gyms, reading rooms and sports complex facilities are also available.

The administration of the university, represented by the rector, concludes a mutual responsibility agreement with the students who settle in the dormitory, which stipulates all the requirements for students and their rights. To safely live students there is a pass mode, a watch equipped with telephones for emergency calls to the police, and rescue services.
