Dorms consist of eight rooms per floor, with 2-3 people per room. Each floor also has one kitchen and two toilets, and the basement has a shower. Students cannot select their own rooms. We encourage students to apply early, as the number of rooms is limited. Some students may not be comfortable with dorm rules, as they are often considered strict.

The hostels have kitchens, laundry rooms, study rooms and training sessions, recreation rooms, a gym, etc. The complete hostel complex is equipped with internet access and is guarded by professional security; and CCTV and fire alarm system. There are many apartments in Kursk available for rent at an affordable price, and many KSMU students choose to stay in these private apartments.
