Perm State Pharmaceutical Academy

General Information

Perm State Pharmaceutical Academy is a higher educational institution in Perm that trains specialists with a pharmaceutical education. It provides higher education in the field of healthcare science and pharmacy. Thanks to the active cooperation with foreign counterparts, the Academy is on the path to transformation into a major international pharmaceutical center.

PSPA has carried out scientific and educational activities since 1936. Today it is a major educational center, a place of training and retraining specialists in the pharmaceutics field, and new drugs are created. The graduates of the Perm State Pharmaceutical Academy are in demand both in Russia and abroad.

Five research areas of the Academy occupy a leading position in the development of modern pharmaceutical science. Scientists of the Academy are developing innovative dosage forms for the production of medical immunobiological preparations

The graduates of the Academy work in the field of industrial production development and pharmacy manufacturing of medicines, their quality control, drug provision for the population, pharmaceutical supervision, and chemical, physical-chemical and forensic analysis.

As of 2016, the academy includes 5 study faculties and 20 study departments.

Accommodation and Housing

The Perm State Pharmaceutical Academy accommodates students in two student dormitories of apartment and corridor types. First of all, international students and non-city residents are settled. Every student has free access to all dormitory rooms as study rooms, reading rooms, libraries, gym, and student canteen.

Accommodation is prepared in over 1,300 places in double rooms, and triple rooms, shared kitchens, showers, and toilets. All student rooms are renovated and equipped with all necessary furniture and technologies such as modern TV and free Wi-Fi.
