Siberian Institute of International Relations and Regional Studies
General Information
The Siberian Institute of International Relations and Regional Studies was established in 1998 in Novosibirsk. It is a unique higher institution in Siberia, which prepares specialists in the sphere of international relations, oriental studies, political science, foreign languages, diplomacy, international and national security, and world politics.
Institute provides a wide opportunity for getting the first as well as the second higher education degree on various courses, levels, and forms. The Institute offers Bachelor’s, Master’s, and post-graduate courses. Students can study in full-time courses, part-time courses, or choose a distant form of education. Graduates are issued with state degrees.
Institute conducts serious research work. It has wide international contacts. All members of the academic staff are highly qualified. Leading Russian and foreign politicians, diplomats, and scientists make a speech before our students. The Institute provides advanced training courses, the Higher School of Politics, translator’s courses, International Lyceum, and training courses for the Common State Exams.
It provides studying of Bachelor’s programs, Master’s programs, and Postgraduate programs for Russian students and develops advanced Master’s programs with English medium of instruction. Students and teaching staff at Institute are involved in a variety of research activities and grant programs in Russian universities and universities abroad.

Accommodation and Housing
University student hostels are fully furnished. The students are provided with a well-maintained, accommodated, and ventilated room. The hostel has a good infrastructure and is maintained well. The hostel has discipline and rules which every student is required to strictly follow. A mess facility is also available for the students to ensure their health and nutrition.
Every hostel resident can use every common room in the building, including the library, gym, canteen, and resting rooms. All rooms are well-furnished and ready to use at every time and day. Accommodations are supplied with refrigerators, shared kitchens, reading rooms, studying rooms, a hostel library, and separate bathrooms and toilets. Hostels are under 24/7 CCTV surveillance, so every student can feel safe and comfortable.
