Blagoveschensk State Pedagogical University

General Information 

Blagoveschensk State Pedagogical University (BSPU) is located in Blagoveschensk, the administrative center of the Amur Oblast. BSPU was founded in 1930 and is one of the oldest educational institutions in the Far East of Russia. For more than 80 years, first, the Pedagogical Institute and then the Blagoveshchensk State Pedagogical University have successfully trained highly qualified specialists. 

University provides studying processes for local and international students from other countries. Due to numerous cooperation agreements with foreign universities and organizations, members of academic staff and students can participate in exchange programs and internships abroad to get new theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

There are over 400 faculty members and about 6,000 students within 10 departments, across 35 specialties. The university also has 14 postgraduate courses; both of pedagogical and non-pedagogical specializations. The university library was the only scientific library in the Amur region before 1955. 

University provides studying of Bachelor’s programs, Master’s programs, and Postgraduate programs for Russian students and develop advanced Master’s programs with English medium of instruction. Students and teaching staff at University are involved in a variety of research activities and grant programs in Russian universities and universities abroad.

Accommodation and Housing 

University has 4 student hostels.  All of them have central heating in each room with provided electricity supply, hot and cold water, and a phone. Each room is equipped with furniture and bedding to ensure the comfort of the students coming to study MBBS in Russia. 

By owing the student’s requirements, each hostel incorporates a reading room and gym on the university campus. Student Dormitory has eight rooms per floor, with 2-3 people per room. Each floor also has one kitchen and two toilets, and the basement has a shower. All rooms have access to free Wi-fi and are equipped with essential modern amenities like a pillow, blanket, bedsheet, beds, tables, and chairs that are already added to the basic necessity list. For student recreation gyms, reading rooms and sports complex facilities are also available.
