South Ural State Humanitarian Pedagogical University

General Information 

South Ural State Humanitarian Pedagogical University is a higher pedagogical educational institution, is one of the oldest universities in the Chelyabinsk region, and was founded in 1934 as a pedagogical institute. In 1995, the Institute received the status of a university and was renamed the Chelyabinsk State Pedagogical University. 

All educational activities of the university are aimed at implementing the State Standard for Vocational Education, improving the quality of professional training of teaching staff, intensifying the educational process, searching for new forms of education, and creative development of the personality of future teachers. 

In 2013, a college was opened at the university, which began to train personnel with a secondary vocational education, higher professional – undergraduate degree, higher professional – master’s degree, and higher professional – training of highly qualified personnel (postgraduate studies). Due to numerous cooperation agreements with foreign universities and international organizations, students and members of academic staff can take part in exchange programs and internships abroad to get new theoretical knowledge and practical experience.

University accepts local and international students. The medium of instruction of Russian and English. Students can apply for Bachelor’s courses, Masters’s courses, and Ph.D. degree programs. The university is an officially registered university with the Ministry of Higher Education in Russia.

Accommodation and Housing 

University has 2 student hostels.  All of them have central heating in each room with provided electricity supply, hot and cold water, and a phone. Each room is equipped with furniture and bedding to ensure the comfort of the students coming to study MBBS in Russia. 

By owing the student’s requirements, each hostel incorporates a reading room and gym on the university campus. Student Dormitory has eight rooms per floor, with 2-3 people per room. Each floor also has one kitchen and two toilets, and the basement has a shower. All rooms have access to free Wi-fi and are equipped with essential modern amenities like a pillow, blanket, bedsheet, beds, tables, and chairs that are already added to the basic necessity list. For student recreation gyms, reading rooms and sports complex facilities are also available.
