Far Eastern State Transport University
General Information
FESTU provides a comfortable environment for research work and study. University has a license of training specialists in bachelor’s courses, master’s courses, and certified specialists of the following levels of higher education. The faculty staff of the University consists of 700 people, including over 100 PhDs.
The university trained more than 20,000 international and local students. All students can pass improvement of professional skills in various education programs.
University has an integrated system of training compound of theoretical training of students with industrial activity at the base enterprises. They can take part in scientific research and continue training in postgraduate study.
It conducts education activities for more than forty years and has an invariable high reputation among higher education institutions in Russia. University provides studying of Bachelor’s programs, Master’s programs, and Postgraduate programs for Russian students and develop advanced Master’s programs with English medium of instruction. Students and teaching staff at University are involved in a variety of research activities and grant programs in Russian universities and universities abroad.

Accommodation and Housing
Student Dormitory has eight rooms per floor, with 2-3 people per room. Each floor also has one kitchen and two toilets, and the basement has a shower. Every hostel resident can use every common room in the building, including the library, gym, canteen, and resting rooms. All rooms are well-furnished and ready to use at every time and day.
All modern amenities are available including pillows, blankets, bedsheets, beds, tables, chairs, etc. One common kitchen in every block of rooms is available for students to cook food on their own. Regular electricity and water supply are available for students.
