Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University

General Information 

Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University (NMSTU) is one of the most prominent and reputable multiple-discipline technical universities and scientific centers in Russia. University became an internationally recognized research school with a wide range of cultural and scientific ties with both Russian and overseas universities. It is the best place to study technical science in Russia and get a higher degree in Russia.

NMSTU has more than 12,000 prominent students studying undergraduate courses, postgraduate courses, and doctoral courses in Russia. The faculty comprises about over 800 teachers with over 530 of them holding Ph.D. degrees and 98 with doctorate degrees. University provides Bachelor’s programs, Master’s programs, and Postgraduate programs for Russian students and develop advanced Master’s programs with English medium of instruction. Students and teaching staff at NMSTU are involved in a variety of research activities and grant programs in Russian universities and universities abroad.

NMSTU also performs activities as part of TEMPUS projects funded by the EU European Committee. NMSTU participates in EU projects on the modernization of curricula.

Accommodation and Housing 

All dormitories are fully equipped with modern engineering communications: central heating, hot, and cold water supply, sewerage, and electricity supply. All rooms have access to free Wi-fi and are equipped with essential modern amenities like a pillow, blanket, bedsheet, beds, tables, and chairs that are already added to the basic necessity list. For student recreation gyms, reading rooms and sports complex facilities are also available.

The administration of the university, represented by the rector, concludes a mutual responsibility agreement with the students who settle in the dormitory, which stipulates all the requirements for students and their rights. To safely live students there is a pass mode, a watch equipped with telephones for emergency calls to the police, and rescue services.
