General Information

M.E. Evseviev Mordovian State Pedagogical University was founded on June 30, 1962. The university is the center of pedagogical education, science, and culture of the Republic of Mordovia, named after Makar Evsevyevich Evsevyov, a Mordovian scientist and teacher. The State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education “M.E. Evseviev Mordovian State Pedagogical University” is one of the leading universities of the republic. 

The Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education “M.E. Evseviev Mordovian State Pedagogical University” trains specialists for the needs of the education of the republic and neighboring regions. Mordovian State Pedagogical University received a license to carry out educational activities in 18 specialties of the university and 25 postgraduate education. The university acts as a scientific, methodological, cultural, and educational center of the diaspora of the Mordovian people in the Nizhny Novgorod, Saratov, Penza, Ulyanovsk regions, as well as in Moscow, Tatarstan and Bashkortostan.

Accommodation and Housing 

M.E. Evseviev Mordovian State Pedagogical University offers its students three dormitories on the territory of the campus, which in recent years have turned into modern, comfortable for living, studying, and relaxing. MSPU dormitories are designed for residence for the period of study of students, graduate students, and doctoral students studying full-time. There are different types of dormitories. Corridor type. In addition to living rooms on the first floor, there are administrative and utility rooms, and an isolation ward. On each floor, there are 2 kitchens, 2 utility rooms (a washroom combined with a dryer), and bathrooms. Rooms are designed for 2 and 3 beds. Section type. There are 6 sections on each floor (4 rooms each). Every section of the room is for 2 and 3 beds and has a bathroom and a washroom. On the floor, there are 2 kitchens and dryers. These hostels have an elevator. All hostels are equipped with new electric stoves and kitchen furniture. There is laundry, drying, and ironing facilities on each floor. All dormitories have spacious rooms for independent work and preparation for classes, computer classes, leisure rooms, and gyms. Internet is provided in all rooms.
