General Information
Stroganov Moscow State Academy of Art and Industries informally named Stroganovka is one of the oldest Russian schools for industrial, monumental, and decorative art and design. The Academy is named after its founder, baron Sergei Grigoriyevich Stroganov. The school was founded in 1825 by Baron Sergey Stroganov. It specialized in applied and decorative art. Academy is the best place to study art in Russia and study acting performance in Russia. All local and international students have the opportunity to get quality Russian higher degrees.
Today research activities of the Academy of Arts cover a wide range of areas like fundamental research, applied research, and development. Its perspective includes the study of cultural science, study theoretical and historical musicology, study folklore, study professional art, the Pacific Rim country`s culture, study theory, and history of the performing arts.
Academy provides studying of Bachelor’s programs, Master’s programs, and Postgraduate programs for Russian students and develop advanced Master’s programs with English medium of instruction. Students and teaching staff at academy are involved in a variety of research activities and grant programs in Russian universities and universities abroad.

Accommodation and Housing
University guarantees accommodation for all its international and non-resident students. They can use a free bus service between the student hostel and the study building. Air-conditioned and well-prepared rooms are ready to accommodate separate boys and girls.
Hostels are enabled with trained, educated, and full-time security guards and security wardens. Everybody can feel safe and comfortable in the dorm territory. The students will also be supplied with a high-speed internet facility, modern TV, and computers in the hostel.
All modern amenities are available to international students at the University – pillows, blankets, bedsheets, beds, tables, chairs, etc.
