Orel State University

General Information

Orel State University was founded in 1931 and is located in the city of Orel, the distance between Moscow and Orel is 325 kilometers. Orel State University provides medical training in a wide range of areas and specialties of higher and postgraduate education. It is the best place to study MBBS in Russia and get a medical degree in Russia.

At present, the Medical Faculty of Orel State University has 17 medical departments, which employ more than 100 full-time teachers, of whom more than 30 Doctors Professors, 77 associate professors, 3 Honored Scientists of the Russian Federation, 8 Honored Doctors of the Russian Federation, 12 academicians and 11 corresponding members of various public academies.

The clinical bases of the Institute are leading medical diagnostic and Medical institutions of the city of Orel and Orel Region such as the Regional Hospital, Children’s Regional Hospital, the Regional Perinatal Center, and others. It has a significant position on international platforms and is recognized by UNO and WHO. Research, conducted at the university, is utilized at all international medical forums. That is the reason Orel State University always remains in prominent positions, in international rankings. 

Accommodation and Hostels

The University is proud of its modern dormitory housing 1100 people. Every section has two cozy rooms, a kitchen, a shower, and a bathroom. The hostel for international students is located in the center of the city 30mtr from the University’s main building. The hostel has well-equipped rooms with all modern facilities for 3 seater big rooms, upgraded comforts, and central heating. 

Reception, laundry, cleaning and washing personnel, reading room, and computer hall are always available for every hostel resident. The cost of living in Russia can be completely affordable and can also make it a comfortable place to live in.
