Perm State Medical Academy

General Information

Founded in 1916 and located in the Perm City of Russia, Perm State Medical Academy is one of the oldest and largest universities in Russia. It is the most popular study destination amongst Indian medical aspirants who want to pursue MBBS in Russia. 

Perm State Medical Academy is integrated with academic institutions of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and different higher schools in Russia and Perm. The result is the deepening of scientific-research studies, which are widely introduced into medical practice, as well as receiving grants on education from the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR) and the Russian Humanitarian Science Foundation (RHF). 

Since the inception of Perm State Medical Academy in 1916, more than 50,000 medical students have graduated from medical universities, including thousands of students from India. In 2007, PSMA staff was honored with The Gratitude of the President of the Russian Federation, and thanks to our dedication to quality and our devotion to our students, PSMA is ranked amongst the top medical academies in Russia.

Accommodation and Housing

Perm State Medical Academy provides high-quality accommodation for students pursuing MBBS and other degrees. The hostel is very close to the college campus. The students are provided with fully furnished rooms on sharing basis. There are around 7 student hostels on the PSMU campus. The hostels have kitchens, laundry rooms, rooms for study and training sessions, recreation rooms, a gym, etc. The complete hostel complex is equipped with internet access.

Perm State Medical University aims at providing maximum comfort to the students. The hostel rooms are designed such as 2-3 students can share one room. The rooms are equipped with air-conditioning and a centralized heating system. The location of the hostels is very near to the center of the city. The local markets and other amenities are easily accessible to the students.
