Rachmaninov Rostov State Conservatory
General Information
The Rostov State Conservatory is a state-owned higher music school in Rostov-on-Don. Rostov Conservatory is an educational institution of music culture and art in the North Caucasus and the South of Russia. The conservatory was the only educational establishment that provided training of highly qualified personnel for music institutions and educational institutions of all levels of the South of Russia.
It trained more than 4,000 specialists – pianists, conductors, choirmasters, composers, musicologists, opera and chamber singers, performers on all orchestral strings, wind and percussion instruments, folk instruments, and pop and jazz musicians. The scientific and educational space of the university is on an international and global scale. New knowledge and discoveries require cross-border discussions and continuous exchange of experience.
The university is an officially registered university with the Ministry of Higher Education in Russia. Due to numerous cooperation agreements with foreign universities and international organizations, students and members of academic staff can take part in exchange programs and internships abroad to get new theoretical knowledge and practical experience.

Accommodation and Housing
University has great infrastructure and technical facilities and dormitories. These are student attractions, especially for international students who leave their homes for a long time stay. Students get a choice of single rooms, double rooms, and triple sharing rooms. The Buryat State University hostel is equipped with all the necessary items such as almirahs, selves, beds, chairs, tables, etc. All facilities available within the campus itself, a supermarket, café, clinic, pharmacy store, etc. hostel is 24 hours under CCTV surveillance.
All rooms are shared between 2-4 students and are fully supplied with all needed furniture and technologies. Every room has a permanent Wi-Fi connection, a system of central heating, air conditioning, and a permanent electricity supply. The rooms are equipped with beds, desks, chairs, and wall shelves for each student. Wardrobes and shoe racks located in the hallway are shared by the students living in the unit as well as a refrigerator. Blankets, pillows, and bed sheets are also provided to students.
