General Information
Saint Petersburg Maritime Technical College is a higher educational institution that prepares world-class marine engineers with expertise in the design, construction, and maintenance of ships, surface ships, and submarines. Saint Petersburg Maritime Technical College was founded in 1930. University became an internationally recognized research school with a wide range of cultural and scientific ties with both Russian and overseas universities. It is the best place to study technical science in Russia and get a higher degree in Russia.
Saint Petersburg Maritime Technical College provides a high level of training for graduates with compliance with international standards confirmed by experts of the International Institute of Marine Engineers in London. Saint Petersburg Maritime Technical College higher degrees are recognized in Europe and in the United States. At present Saint Petersburg Maritime Technical College has 5 study faculties, 38 study departments, and a staff of 620 skilled professionals. Scientific innovation infrastructure includes research laboratories of technical study departments and undergraduate courses, postgradaute courses, the central research laboratory, a vivarium, an anatomical museum in Russia, a museum of Medical History, and 14 research centers. The staff of the institute and students participate in the development and implementation of federal, regional, sectoral programs, and international programs.

Accommodation and Housing
Student Dormitory has eight rooms per floor, with 2-3 people per room. Each floor also has one kitchen and two toilets, and the basement has a shower. All rooms have access to free Wi-fi and are equipped with essential modern amenities like a pillow, blanket, bedsheet, beds, tables, and chairs that are already added to the basic necessity list. For student recreation gyms, reading rooms and sports complex facilities are also available.
Every hostel resident can use every common room in the building, including the library, gym, canteen, and resting rooms. All rooms are well-furnished and ready to use at every time and day. Every room is supplied with modern technologies such as computers, cable TV, free Wi-Fi, central heating systems, air condition systems, and audiovisual equipment.
