General Information
Saint Petersburg Sea Fishing College is one of the oldest educational institutions in Russia, which trains professionals to work on ships and in the fishing industry. Saint Petersburg Sea Fishing College was founded in 1913. University became an internationally recognized research school with a wide range of cultural and scientific ties with both Russian and overseas universities. It is the best place to study technical science in Russia and get a higher degree in Russia.
Over the years Saint Petersburg Sea Fishing College has trained over 25,000 professionals who work in all regions of Russia. At present Saint Petersburg Sea Fishing College has 6 study faculties, 29 study departments, and an academic staff of 250 teachers.
University offers training of specialists in bachelor’s courses and master’s courses in 44 areas of education in full-time studying and extra-mural forms of studying. The University offers postgraduate courses in 29 technical specialties and doctorate studies in 6 study specialties. University offers foreign students full-time and extra-mural education in undergraduate courses in Russia, graduate courses in Russia, and postgraduate courses in Russia.
University provides studying of Bachelor’s programs, Master’s programs, and Postgraduate programs for Russian students and develop advanced Master’s programs with English medium of instruction. Students and teaching staff at University are involved in a variety of research activities and grant programs in Russian universities and universities abroad.

Accommodation and Housing
Student Dormitory has eight rooms per floor, with 2-3 people per room. Each floor also has one kitchen and two toilets, and the basement has a shower. All rooms have access to free Wi-fi and are equipped with essential modern amenities like a pillow, blanket, bedsheet, beds, tables, and chairs that are already added to the basic necessity list. For student recreation gyms, reading rooms and sports complex facilities are also available.
Every hostel resident can use every common room in the building, including the library, gym, canteen, and resting rooms. All rooms are well-furnished and ready to use at every time and day. Every room is supplied with modern technologies such as computers, cable TV, free Wi-Fi, central heating systems, air condition systems, and audiovisual equipment.
