Samara State Institute of Culture
General Information
Samara State Institute of Culture (KSIC) is a higher educational institution in Samara. It was established as a higher educational institution of arts and theatre in 1976. It becomes the best university to study culture, study stage speech, study vocals, and study acting in Russia.
University held courses in all levels of higher education (bachelor’s courses, master’s courses, doctoral courses). Students study in 20 study departments and more than 30 study directions of preparation such as choreography, the direction of theatrical performances and holidays, sound engineering, the art of folk singing, conducting jazz music, and more.
A special pride of KSIC is the music-philharmonic modern conservatory. The structural division not only brought together professionals but also provides an opportunity for continuous practice for students of the music and performing faculty. All students can take part in international exchange programs and internships abroad. University provides full-time studying and part-time studying in undergraduate courses in Russia, postgraduate courses in Russia, and doctoral studies in Russia.

Accommodation and Housing
The University has a student hostel, 4 canteens, and 7 buffets. During the period of studies at the University each student is provided with a room in a student’s hostel which is equipped with good furniture, appropriate maintenance service, kitchens, shower rooms, and other places of common for some extra charge. In the hostels, the passing by regime functions, and the appropriate protection is ensured.
A place in a comfortable hostel room with a TV set, a telephone, and a refrigerator is provided. Reception, laundry, cleaning and washing personnel, reading room, and computer hall are always available for every hostel resident. Every hostel resident can use every common room in the building, including the library, gym, canteen, and resting rooms. All rooms are well-furnished and ready to use at every time and day. Entrances to the building are equipped with video surveillance and security posts. Every room fully has modern furniture and technical equipment, such as central heating and air conditioning systems, permanent Wi-Fi, and cable TV.
