General Information
Samara State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering is a Russian state higher education institution, located in Samara, and since 2016 reorganized by joining the SamSTU in the form of a structural subdivision – architectural and construction institute (ASI SamSTU), and later the Academy of Construction and Architecture (ASA SamSTU).
University provides studying of Bachelor’s programs, Master’s programs, and Postgraduate programs for Russian students and develop advanced Master’s programs with English medium of instruction. Students and teaching staff at University are involved in a variety of research activities and grant programs in Russian universities and universities abroad.
Samara State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering is an actual member of many international associations: UNESCO, UNIDO, IAEA, International Association for Continuous Engineering Education, International Coordination Council of Educational Institutions Alumni, CIGRE Russian National Committee, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Council on Superconductivity, World Wind Energy Association, European Association for International Education, Association of International Departments of Technical Universities of Central and Eastern Europe.

Accommodation and Housing
International students are provided with an option of student accommodation. The university’s hostels are well-equipped with everything a student would want while residing there. The hostel’s rooms are clean, airy, and big, and the students have access to a bathroom.
Students have the option of dining at the hostel’s canteen or cooking for themselves in shared kitchens. The University’s hostels are properly equipped and have central heating, which is a welcome addition during the winter months. Separate toilets and kitchens are also accessible for students in the hostels. Other amenities include a Wi-Fi campus, sports complex, playground, transit, cafeterias, ATMs, and banks, as well as the central library and theater.
