Higher School of Economics, Moscow
HSE University, officially the National Research University Higher School of Economics is a public research university founded in 1992 and headquartered in Moscow, Russia. Along with its main campus located in the capital, the university maintains three other regional campuses in Nizhny Novgorod, Perm, and Saint Petersburg. There is also the Lyceum at the National Research University Higher School of Economics in Moscow.
HSE was the first educational institution in Russia to successfully introduce Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, having also taken part in the development and implementation of the Unified State Exam to modernize the education and healthcare systems of Russia.
HSE offers education at all levels – from a lyceum for school students to post-graduate and MBA programs. Students can pursue training in a number of fields, including the social sciences, economics, humanities, law, engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and biotechnology, as well as in creative disciplines. HSE is the only university in Russia that is ranked in the top 100 of the Times Higher Education Young University Rankings.
HSE offers the largest number of English-taught Master’s programs in Russia. These programs range from public policy to business to area studies and all prepare students to become leaders in their chosen fields. In order to attract the best students, merit-based scholarships and stipends are awarded to qualifying candidates.

Accommodation and Housing
University student hostels are fully furnished. The students are provided with a well-maintained, accommodated, and ventilated room. The hostel has a good infrastructure and is maintained well. The hostel has discipline and rules which every student is required to strictly follow. A mess facility is also available for the students to ensure their health and nutrition.
Every hostel resident can use every common room in the building, including the library, gym, canteen, and resting rooms. All rooms are well-furnished and ready to use at every time and day. Accommodations are supplied with refrigerators, shared kitchens, reading rooms, studying rooms, a hostel library, and separate bathrooms and toilets. Hostels are under 24/7 CCTV surveillance, so every student can feel safe and comfortable.
