Stavropol State Agrarian University
General Information
Stavropol State Agrarian University is a state institution of higher education in Stavropol, Northern Caucasus. According to the state license, the University has a right to perform an education activity including 126 programs (specialist degree, bachelor degree, and master’s degree programs), where 18,500 local and international students are studying.
The university structure consists of 9 study faculties, 51 chairs, 90 innovation labs and centers, a techno-park “UniverAgro”, publishing complex “AGRUS”, 32 minor innovation ventures, a horse physical culture school, a vivarium, and a research library.
The faculty comprises about over 300 teachers with over 145 of them holding Ph.D. degrees and 9 with doctorate degrees. University provides studying of Bachelor’s programs, Master’s programs, and Postgraduate programs for Russian students and develop advanced Master’s programs with English medium of instruction. Students and teaching staff are involved in a variety of research activities and grant programs in Russian universities and universities abroad.
Due to the high ranking of university curriculums, scientific research projects, and production, the university is one of the most popular study destinations for international students. Due to close ties with partner universities all students have the option of participating in international student exchange programs, internships abroad, academic mobility programs, and practical training in foreign companies.

Accommodation and Housing
Hostel and accommodation at University are well established and known for their comfort and safety. It has 7 student dormitories and gives a facility of rooms for 2-3 students. It has dining areas, common rooms, a reading room, a sports complex, proper bedding, and, all the necessities.
The rooms are furnished with all the necessities. There are wireless access points and channels through which there is a facility for a high-speed internet connection throughout the campus and all dormitories, which are covered with a 24-hour Wi-Fi service. Different cafes, fast-food areas, parks, and malls are close to the hostel area.
