Tomsk State University of Architecture and Building

General Information

The Tomsk State University of Architecture and Building is located in Tomsk, Russia. The Tomsk State University of Architecture and Building (TSUAB) is one of the civil engineering universities in Western Siberia. TSUAB provides fundamental and applied training for students within bachelor, master, and specialist programs in architecture and civil engineering.

The university opened an architectural and construction incubator, providing undergraduates, master students, and young researchers with information, material, and technical and legal support for the realization of their creative projects and ideas. 

 In the vocational school under the University is realized the training on 12 specialties of primary vocational education. The university staff takes an active part in research works in scientific and technical programs and grants, including those of the RF Ministry of Education and Science, and of the Russian Fund of Fundamental Investigations, and presidents of RF and RD for supporting junior scientists and leading scientific schools.

University provides studying processes for local and international students from other countries. Due to numerous cooperation agreements with foreign universities and organizations, members of academic staff and students have the opportunity to take part in exchange programs and internships abroad to get new theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

Accommodation and Housing 

The dormitory has a perfect location: grocery stores, cafés, and restaurants with Russian and international cuisine are within walking distance. All city attractions, museums, theaters, and historic places are either within walking distance or easy transportation from the dormitory. The dormitory also is conveniently located in terms of going to and from the airport, either by taxi or via the metro.

 This year, more than 200 university freshmen are living on the 3rd floor of the new building.  University administration carried out cosmetic repairs and bought new beds, cabinets, refrigerators, gas stoves, and washing machines. In general, the living conditions of the students have significantly improved. Rooms are supplied with central heating, free WiFi, and cable TV.
