Troitsk Aviation Technical College
General Information
Troitsk Aviation Technical College is a branch of Moscow State Technical University of Civil Aviation in Troitsk. It is one of the largest educational institutions in Russian civil aviation. The college provides a studying process for young and prominent students, that want to obtain a higher degree in a quality educational establishment and open themselves to a vast amount of career perspectives.
Troitsk Aviation Technical College was established in 1947 and become one of the first centers of preparation for specialists in aviation and aerospace engineering. At present Troitsk Aviation Technical College is a modern educational complex that has four academic buildings, two dormitories, a dining room, a library with a large reading room, three gymnasiums, and a club for three hundred people.
The college is located in the city center. The training sessions at Troitsk Aviation Technical College are held in well-equipped classrooms and laboratories. Research units of the College are supplied with the most modern equipment and technologies, to make studying and research activities more useful and effective for students and members of the academic staff. Classes are conducted in 28 study departments with 410 highly qualified teachers.
Members of the college academic staff are prominent and qualified specialists in the field of aviation, aerospace engineering, technical sciences, and IT. Over the years the college has trained more than 26,000 young professionals who work in all civil aviation enterprises in Russia.
Training sessions are held in well-equipped classrooms and laboratories. In the educational process is widely used modern methods of instruction. The College has a robust computer database. The uniqueness of the college lies in the fact that the training of students within the planned admission numbers by the state security: free education, and meals in the dining room in a hostel.

Accommodation and Housing
Troitsk Aviation Technical College provides its students with renovated apartments in the same city center, near all needed for comfortable living facilities. The dormitory has a perfect location near grocery stores, cafés, and restaurants with Russian and international cuisine within walking distance. All city attractions, museums, theaters, and historic places are either within walking distance or easy transportation from the dormitory. The dormitory also is conveniently located in terms of going to and from the airport, either by taxi or via the metro.
The dormitory is a corridor-type residential building with shared facilities. One room usually accommodates three or four roommates. Entrances to the building are equipped with video surveillance and security posts. Every room fully has modern furniture and technical equipment, such as central heating and air conditioning systems, permanent Wi-Fi, and cable TV.
