General Information
Ural State Forest Engineering University is one of the leading educational institutions in Russian Forestry education. Ural State Forest Engineering University located in Ekaterinburg is an industrial, scientific, and cultural center of the Urals Federal District. Ural State Forest Engineering University was founded in 1930 based on the Forestry Faculty of the Ural Polytechnic Institute.
Throughout its history, Ural State Forest Engineering University has trained more than 55,000 professionals. Today Ural State Forest Engineering University prepares graduates in Bachelor courses, Master courses, and specialists in a wide range of technical, economic, and humanitarian areas for businesses, organizations, and institutions for the sector of the economy, environmental protection, and rational use of natural resources. Currently, Ural State Forest Engineering University has 11 study faculties, 49 study departments, and a staff of 835 skilled professionals.
University’s primary mission is to promote human and economic local development, global understanding, and advance in professional practice through the expansion of knowledge and its applications in the natural and applied sciences, and the professions.

Accommodation and Housing
University provides its students with a Student Hostel. The building is fully equipped with needed facilities and has a convenient location. All rooms are shared between 2-4 students and are fully supplied with all needed furniture and modern technologies. Every room has a permanent Wi-Fi connection, a system of central heating, air conditioning, and a permanent electricity supply.
The rooms are equipped with beds, desks, chairs, and wall shelves for each student. Wardrobes and shoe racks located in the hallway are shared by the students living in the unit as well as a refrigerator. Blankets, pillows, and bed sheets are also provided to students.
