General Information
Volgograd State Agrarian University (VolgaAU) is the highest agricultural educational institution in Russia, one of the universities of Volgograd. Volgograd State Agricultural University was founded in 1944. Today the Volgograd State Agricultural University is one of the biggest educational and scientific centers that train highly qualified specialists for an agro-industrial complex of the Lower Volga region and other subjects of the Russian Federation.
The Russian higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students’ past academic records and grades. University also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a university library, students dormitory, sports facilities, internships abroad, study abroad and exchange programs, as well as administrative services.
All students can take part in international exchange programs and internships abroad. University provides full-time studying and part-time studying in undergraduate courses in Russia, postgraduate courses in Russia, and doctoral studies in Russia. The university provides studying processes in 14 modern educational and laboratory buildings, a scientific and technical library with 900,000 storage units and about 60,000 full-text electronic documents, a student dormitory, a sports complex with a swimming pool, and modern laboratory equipment.

Accommodation and Housing
University offers comfortable hostel rooms on a sharing basis for students of the same gender. Common hostel facilities for students include shared kitchen space for self-cooking, laundry, internet, cooling, and heating system. For all migration-related issues, students can take help from the Center for International Education.
The hostel provide all needed facilities for students as modern furniture, changed bedding, TV, free Wi–Fi, reading rooms, studying rooms, a hostel library, a common kitchen, and separate bathrooms and toilets. Hostels are under 24/7 CCTV surveillance, so every student can feel safe and comfortable. Wi-Fi connectivity is accessible 24/7 to make studying and resting more useful.
